This coffee has a strong/full body and syrupy texture. We recommend this coffee served as an opulent espresso beverage, drip coffee or a rich single cup pour-over.
This coffee will always hold a special place for us, as we pride ourselves in sourcing and roasting some of the finest specialty coffee from regions around Southeast Asia and other “under-represented” origins. This is the culmination of a multi-year effort to bring you a high-quality coffee from Laos given the challenges of cost and logistics. This lot comes from the Keoset cluster, a group of about 200 small farmers in Xieng Khuang, a province in the northern uplands of Laos. The coffees have been planted in natural forests at elevations of 1,100-1,400 meters and are farmed without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. They partnered with Comma Coffee to help with production, logistics and sales. This lot, which is 100% catimor, scored at the top of the annual Laos Green Coffee Competition for the second year in a row.
